The Ontario Hostelry Institute has selected Bob Desautels, Founder and Chairman of The Woolwich Arrow Pub and Borealis restaurants as their Gold Award Honoree in the category of INDEPENDENT RESTAURATEUR. This award acknowledges the significant contributions Bob has made in the growth and professional stature of the hospitality-tourism industry not only in Ontario but also across Canada.

Bob's critically acclaimed achievements and dedication to quality cuisine and wines together with his recognition as the owner and operator of a truly important destination restaurant and dining room, Borealis Restaurant, has done much to heighten the awareness and stature of this industry.

Bob will receive this prestigious award at the Gold Awards Gala Dinner to be held on April 18, 2013 at the new Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto.
